Our world faces many issues

Here, we list a few of the issues we are most familiar with (in no particular order).  This list is certainly not all-inclusive, and we encourage you to reach out to us with problems that you are passionate about solving. 

–The melting of the polar ice caps
     -rising sea levels
     -threatened ecosystems

-Greenhouse gas emissions
     -CO2 from natural and human sources
     -factory farming methane emissions

-The world water crisis
     -over 2  billion people living without clean water
     -sanitation issues

-Political divisiveness in America
     -human issues are directly connected to natural issues and solutions
     -in order for gov. to help with solutions, some level of mutual understanding of the problems must be reached

-Wealth Inequality
     -this will always exist on some level, but more and more humans are being pushed into extreme poverty, and society has the means to help

-Plastic in the oceans
     -yes, the straws and sea turtles, etc….
     -micro-plastics threaten ocean ecosystems, and therefor the world

-General pollution
     -no one likes pollution
     -landfills are becoming an issue, we need a new solution

-Over fishing
     -commercial fishing industry regulations are largely unenforced
     -bycatch is at unacceptable levels

-Deforestation
     -yes, though its cliche, the Amazon rain forest is being cut down and destroyed
     -all rain forests are being threatened and need protection

-Food security
     -1 in 9 people go hungry every day

-Worldwide gender equality
     -women in many countries do not have the same rights that men do and suffer because of it
     -especially pressing in the Middle East
